Veratad has the utmost respect for our customer's privacy. This Privacy Policy embodies our commitment to its protection through adherence to fair electronic information practices. You have our promise that we will not electronically process your personal and/or business information in any way that is incompatible with this Policy. Veratad respects the privacy of its customers needs, and therefore does not use data collected from its customers, whether order information or personal information, for any purpose other than for conducting Veratad transactions. Veratad shall at all times abide by federal and state laws and regulations in regard to its customers collected data from its web site. Strict measures will be taken to ensure the integrity and privacy of all information submitted by customers to Veratad. Once we receive information, we take steps to protect its security on our systems; we use industry standard, secure socket layer ("SSL") encryption. Veratad's optional IDR Calc Patent Pending Privacy Tool, our non-intrusive identity authentication tool does not require the user to enter their full SSN or the last four digits of an SSN or a unique identifier. Protecting a person’s privacy, while protecting against fraudulent use of private and personal information during an on-line transaction is the foundation Veratad is built on. Notification of Changes: We may revise this online privacy policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on the web site. The Accountability of Veratad Agents and Business Partners: Our trusted business partners are responsible for processing or handling some of the information that we receive. Information Collection and Uses: • For each visit to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes Our Client's IP Address(es). The client may or may not pass us their customer's IP as part of the verification process. • We collect no information on consumers who browse our non-https Web Site. • The information we collect is and used during transactional process then immediately discard from our servers. • With respect to cookies: We do not set any cookies. • With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. • Upon request we provide only authorized/verified site visitors (*Clients-Merchants) with access to communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., customer inquiries), a description of data is returned with a date and time stamp and transaction id, result and a matching digital signature is provided to our clients and also maintained on our server that relates with the process. However, as part of our client/customer privacy policy, there is no detailed or sensitive customer information maintained or stored on our servers before or after the transaction. We offer visitors no ability to have factual inaccuracies corrected in information that we access. The customer may, however, contact pertinent establishments to correct the data. Those establishments may include but are not limited to public record providers. With respect to security: We always use industry - standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alternation of information that we have processed through our site. If required in response to a subpoena, court order of verified administrative body requesting disclosure of a transaction, we may disclose the limited amount of Personally Identifiable Information as may be required in legal proceedings. We will limit the scope and will only disclose information that is required in response to the disclosure. Veratad's IDresponse Platform SERVICE POLICIES Our Verification Services are: • Made available only to confirmed legitimate business entities. • Presented non-intrusively and as accurately as data provided and available to Veratad . • Protective of our client's customer list from undesirable elements. • Protective of their customers from added and unwanted exposure to undesirable elements. Client and their customer information is protected by the following means: • Industry Standard encryption methods, multiple restrictive levels of account access and removal of all customer information from our servers as part of the transaction. • With their customer's consent, our Clients may query their customer to provide match results for default age setting and/or present shipping address information. • Clients may view a transactional history of the result at Veratad to confirm order or transaction number, date and time stamp, type of transaction, age result, address result and the amount charged. Data Retrieval Policy: • As a part of Veratad Customer Privacy Compliancy, Veratad maintains the necessary records of the transaction result history. • Our Clients have developed a valuable list of customers that have been obtained with the customer's consent by ethical and legal business practices. It is our Clients right to responsibly use their customer’s data to develop and grow their own business. • Our Clients should retain the complete transaction history from the query in case it is needed for future reference. In the Matter of Data Storage: • Veratad acknowledges that Clients maintain the original record of their customer queried match result and transaction history, including but not limited to customer name and address(es). • Veratad maintains the pertinent match results and transaction history through an online reporting tool accessible from a Client's master merchant account or our administrative account. This provides a complete cycle of responsibly stored data to re-enforce the transactional history and secure customer privacy. • Clients may request an additional transactional history at no charge from Veratad that may include additional match results not shown within the Veratad reporting function, but stored within our database. • Veratad is compliant with DPPA, Customer Privacy Act, FCRA and Social Security Number Protection Act. In the Matter of uses: Company acknowledges that the database resources are made available business, financial or government use only and is not available to non-commercial or non-institutional entities. Your Company agrees the data information provided by Veratad Technologies, LLC have been brought together from public records as well as other proprietary databases for limited purposes of fraud prevention or compliance issues.
